PERMACRYLIK® Gesso Modelling Paste White

PERMACRYLIK® Gesso Modelling Paste is a water-based, polymer modified paste and is recommended for preparing and sealing surfaces for acrylic or oil-based paint application.  This product is excellent for all types of artwork requiring thick build-up textured finishes resulting in three dimensional effects. Whilst designed principally for use on canvas, Gesso Modelling Paste may also be used on a variety of substrates such as wooden board, plaster, glass, paperboard and cardboard.  This product has excellent tooth which will enhance adhesion of both acrylic and oil-based paints and demonstrates outstanding flexibility after drying. Gesso Modelling Paste has excellent adhesion to most surfaces and dries to a non-crack finish. For best results allow the product to dry for 24 hours before overpainting with acrylic paints.

As well as overpainting, the product can be mixed with water-based acrylic colours and finished with various glazes. Apply with a knife, spoon spatula etc. Clean up with water whilst still wet.  Available in White only.
