PERMASET Inks are eco-friendly and water-based, produced sustainably using 100% renewable energy and non-toxic ingredients. The world requires a massive improvement in environmental performance across all industries and our customers count on us to make it happen, from eliminating waste and reducing emissions, to removing harmful chemicals from our formulations and using recycled packaging as far as possible. Colormaker Industries is working towards a sustainability plan of reduced emissions and recycling of all waste products by the end of 2025. We know that it’s ambitious, but we are up for it.

PERMASET® is committed to environmental sustainability in everything we do.
Our inks do not contain
ozone-depleting chemcials such as CFCs, HCFCs, aromatic hydrocarbons
or volatile solvents.
Our PERMATONE® range of textile inks are safe to use on underwear, swimwear and even baby clothes (infants under 2 years).
PERMASET Inks are vegan. Our ingredients are not sourced from animals and our inks are not tested on animals. Ingredients that are sourced from plants are certified GMO free.
PERMATONE® has been granted Approval by the Soil Association in the UK, having successfully met the requirement of the Global Organic Textiles Standards (GOTS) for non-organic chemical inputs for use in organic textile processing.

We strive to tread lightly on the earth by recycling our paper, water and metal waste.
100% of our electricity comes from renewable sources. Our solar array generates twice as much energy as we use to power our own processes. It is enough to power 20 homes and save over 150 tonnes of green house gases per year.
We are part of a community of eco-conscious printers. Our website and YouTube channel delivers educational content empowering screen printers with ideas, methods & engagement. We share our training resources with educational institutions building awareness and knowledge of sustainable screen printing practices.
